Chromis Designs buys and sells fine gem stones and manufactures custom-designed jewelry for wholesale and retail sale, and also provides contract manufacturing and repair services to the trade. We directly import many of our gems from overseas, as well as buying from US cutters and dealers.

Company history

Chromis Designs is a sole proprietorship located in San Francisco, CA.

Bob Edwards, the owner and operator, is a GIA-trained Graduate Gemologist and a graduate of the Revere Academy of Jewelry Arts.

Bob maintains membership in Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America (MJSA), the GIA Alumni Association, and The Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG). The company is also active on The Polygon Network, a business-to-business network for the jewelry trades.
